Hi all,
According to the draft draft-levy-sip-diversion-08, following translation is
possible.
ISUP/SIP GW
|
--IAM--------------------------------->|
Called Party Number =+19195551004 |
Redirecting Number =+19195551002 |
Address Presentation =presentation restricted
Original Called Number =+19195551001 |
RedirectionInformation: |
Original redirecting reason = Unconditional (1111)
Redirecting Reason = User busy (0001)
Redirection counter = 5 |
|
|--INVITE +19195551004------>
| Diversion: <tel:+19195551002>
| ;reason=user-busy
| ;privacy="full"
| ;counter=4
| Diversion: <tel:+19195551001>
| ;reason=unconditional
| ;counter=1
|
|
In some markets, IAM message is received with only redirecting reason. No
information such as redirection counter/redirecting number/original called
party number received in ISUP.
Will it be still logical to send only the "reason" in diversion header in
the outgoing INVITE? Or is it mandatory to send a number in the Diversion
header?
This has not been explicitly mentioned(ofcourse, its still a draft!)
Thanks,
kumar
