Hi All

Does UE B need to run timer for both UDP/TCP or only for UDP while waiting
for PRACK after sending 18x reliable response.

RFC 3262 does not mention anything about transport to use for running timer
but its mentioned that 18x/PRACK imitates the 2xx/ACK behavior .
As UE needs to retransmit 2xx for both TCP/UDP being end to end ,does same
way
UE should retransmit 18x reliable response for both tcp/udp .

Appreciate any inputs.

Thanks & Regards

Yes; retries occur for both UDP and TCP. Additionally if not yet noticed,
RFC 3262 section 3 discusses a T2 related difference from 2xx/ACK
behavior.
